"It’s good. So far they're looking pretty good. Of course the more they play the better they'll get," Coach .Conklin said, adding their strongest point is that "they've played together for a while. Their weakest right now is getting the serve reception right up to the setter but we're working on that."
Coaches Maeyer and Nichols have A much larger team with a total of 11 players. It consists of Summer Alexander, Candice Dennis, Amy Freeborn, Meghan Fairbrother, Alice Gentry, Jessie Gheen, Robyn Kaye, Rebbekah Letsen, Ashleigh McNealy, Lauren Sharp and Janice Wilson.
"It's fun to get in with new people $md learn new things, and it's fun to ^et back with last year's coach and a new one this year and we can combine .their knowlegde," Janice commented about her feelings about volleyball this far.
”1 think this year should prove to 'j)e a better year,” Jessie added.
So far it has. Besides the varsity victories in the ,early season tournament, the JV won a scrimmage last Monday.
The teams' first regular match will be at home against Strasburg on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
