TION 6-1-1 of the Town of Washington Zoning Ordinance and Section 15.1-431 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Town Council of Washington, Virginia, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 11, 1996, at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, on Gay and Calvert Streets, Washington, Virginia to consider the following applications:
TW SU #96-11-01 Ruth D. Kiger for Rappahannock Senior Nutrition Site, “dba" Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Nutrition Site, Rappahannock County,. General Delivery, Washington, VA, desires to obtain a Special Use Permit in order to conduct regularly scheduled meetings (currently being held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 10:30-2:30) of the Rappahannock County Senior Nutrition Site Group. This will involve serving a hot lunch each meeting day. Location to be in the “old home Ec. Rm.", former Washington School located on Mt. Salem Avenue Washington, VA. Property is currently zoned "RR" Rural Residential at TW Map 20A-1-78. Allowed under Section 1-4-1 (i), Adaptive Use of Existing Structures; Ordinance of Town of Washington.
