Marie Pat Hickson is a third-yea* political science major at Franciscaij University, and Elizabeth is a fresh-1 man studying English.
Marie Pat plays stopper/sweeper for Franciscan, but this year is taking a break to serve as the team's assistant coach. She plans to return to the field for her senior season of soccer, joining her three sisters on the team, assuming Bridget and Kristin both make the varsity squad as freshmen.
Marie Pat hopes to attend Georgetown University as a graduate student; Anna has her mind set on studying in Ireland, becoming the first in the family not to attend Franciscan out of high school.
"They're a job, all of them," Mrs. Hickson said. "You have to give them order and discipline as children and that allows them the freedom to develop their talents.
"Seeing them grow up, you just stand back in awe," she added. "I look back and say, Thank you, God.'"
