Carolina wren/ like this mixture and it may well/see them through severe cold weather and contribute to their winter survival. Woodpeckers, chickadees and titmice are also drawn to the bird pudding.
1 have observed pine and yellow-rumped (myrtle) warblers, along with brown-headed nuthatches, visiting bird feeders for this mixture farther south and along the coast where these exotic species spend the winter.
Readers of the Times Community Newspapers reside over a wide area. Anything is possible. Who knows what birds may tum up? With bird pudding, maybe a brown creeper or a ruby-crowned kinglet may be lured to the bird feeder. After all, birds do fly.
