Georgie Hackley

Georgie B. Hackley, 53, of Castleton, died on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, James M. Hackley; two daughters, Brenda L. Hackley and Shirley A. Hackley-Greene; one son, James W. Hackley; four grandchildren, Tony Kelly, Christy Greene, Amy Greene and Justin Hackley; four sisters, Mae R. Kinsey and Estelle Lewis, both of Culpeper, Mary Wise and Jackie Widor, both of Washington, D.C. and one brother, William M. Jackson of Washington, D.C.

She is also survived by four aunts, Catherine Dennis, Ida Jackson, Mandy Harrison and Dorothy Warner; four uncles, E. Franklin Warner, McKinley Dennis, Bill Jackson and Tucker Hunter; one son-in-law, Tony Greerte; one sister-in-law and a very special extended family, Robert and Doris Dennis.

Funeral services were held at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Woodville on Saturday, Jan. 18 with the Rev. Walter B. Scott Jr. of Culpeper delivering the eulogy.

Interment was in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery at Woodville.
