Baking Instructions
If you have a pizza stone place it on the middle rack of the oven. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Sprinkle either a wooden pizza paddle or a heavy-duty cookie sheet with cornmeal. Divide the dough into 2 pieces. Use a floured rolling pin to form 1 piece into a flat 10 to 12-inch disk. Add the toppings of your choice and either slide the pizza onto the hot stone or slide the cookie sheet into the oven.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on how thick you made the crust or until the pizza is cooked all the way through. Serve hot.
Toppings
As you will see from this list, I use easy yet nontraditional pizza toppings. You can use either high-quality storebought pizza sauce or your own, and top the pizza with grated cheese. Count on about 1/2 cup tomato sauce for each pizza. Once you get the hang of it-you will see how much fun it is to experiment with all kinds of toppings.
Olive oil and herbs: Brush olive oil on the entire pizza. Mince several cloves o^/garlic and spread over the olive oil. Sprinkle Italian seasonings
