Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 24 at 11 a m. at the Hopewell Baptist Church in Sperry ville.
Interment will be in the family section of the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
W.C. Thompson Funeral Home in Culpeper is in charge of the arrangements.

Edna Prince Carney, 84, of Portsmouth died at home on Jan. 20.
Mrs. Carney is survived by her children, Jane Pillow of Zephyr Hills, Fla., Anne Carroll of Portsmouth, Joseph W. Carney, Jr. of Suffolk and Ellen Manson of Flint Hill; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a sister, Mary Lee Sehmer of Newport News. For many years, Mrs. Carney participated in medical auxiliary, PTA and church activities. She retired in 1977 after 16 years as Secretary to the President of Christopher Newport College.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9 at Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, Suffolk.
