During the recent Rappahannock Fire and Rescue Association Banquet on Jan. 11,1 received an award for giving outstanding support to the Rappahannock County Fire and Rescue and the community. I would like to thank everyone Who nominated me for this award.
During the blizzard of 1996, my chimney caught on fire; without hesitation numerous fire companies arrived. These firefighters left the comforts of their own homes to come out and extinguish this fire. I appreciate this award, but I think that each member of the Rappahannock County Fire and Rescue Association and each Department should receive an award for giving their time in sup
