Valentine's Dinner Planned
The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad is sponsoring a Valentine’s dinner on Feb. 15 from 5:30 to 8 p.m., at the Rappahannock Elementary School.
The menu will include one-half barbecue chicken, wild rice, peas, salad, rolls, dessert and beverages for $8 or $15 for a couple. There is also a special child’s menu for children 8 and under for $3.50. The dinner will be prepared by Pat Jenkins and Shirley Frye who have been in the business totaling over 40 years. Yoga Classes Underway
Hatha Yoga open classes are currently being offered in Washington at the following locations and times: Tuesdays, 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Community Center, next to VDOT; and 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the old High School Gymnasium on Middle Street. Practical Nursing Aptitude Testing
George Washington Carver — Piedmont Technical Education Center will begin testing on Feb. 5 for those who are interested in applying to the Practical Nursing Program that begins in September 1997. This is an 18 month course that prepares a graduate to take the National Council Licensure Examination for becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.).

Valentine's Day Dance Set

Master Gardener Training
The Fauquier County Extension Office will conduct the 1997 Master Gardener Volunteer Training Program during February and March. Classes will be conducted on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Extension Office in Warrenton.
