Jack Atkins is in our prayers as he recovers from injuries suffered during an accident on Route 640. Jack was driving his tractor with a flat bed hay. trailer attached when he was struck from behind by a vehicle. After seeing the pictures of the accident, it is a miracle anyone survived. The other driver’s name was not known to me at press time; however, our prayers are extended to her as she recuperates.
John Early of Early’s Carpet in Amissville is to have surgery on July 17 to replace his hip. We wish you the best of luck in healing so you can be back on your feet.
