Since then I have given up on levitation to work on perfecting my tele-corporeal skills. It would be so convenient to be in two, or three, or five place at once, what with the busy life we all lead. Tb the Editor:
I was pleased when I read
the headline in your June 25, edition, which announced a tax reduction.
My pleasure changed to dismay when reading the accompanying article. I cannot understand how you can call an increase in the Rappahannock County real estate tax rate from'73 cents to 80 cents a tax reduction. In fact, it constitutes an almost 10 percent increase.
I think this warrants a correction in your paper.

Editor’s Note: The series of stories following the county budget process correctly reported the original increase of 10 cents to start, which the supervisors reduced to a seven cent increase. This was a reduction from the original rate. Perhaps last week’s editorial head would have been clearer: Some is better than none.
