Katherine Lee Freeman, 87, of White Post, died on Thursday, June 26 at her residence.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, June 30 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church at White Post by the Rev. J. Michael Barber.
Burial was in Charles “Buster” Jackson Community Cemetery in White Post.
Mrs. Freeman was born Oct. 19, 1909, in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Morty L. and Sarah F. Peyton.
She was a retired housekeeper and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in White Post and Mother of the Church.
She was the wife of the late Richard Henry Freeman.
Surviving are seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Enders and Shirley Funeral Home in Berryville was in charge of the arrangements.
