Nutrition seminar set
Heartland Institute of Health and Education is presenting a free Nutrition Seminar going on now and will continue thou July 6. Topics include health lectures on boosting the immune system and healthy food demonstrations. Children are also welcome. Tapes of sessions will also be available following seminar. Hitt descendants dinner planned
Descendants of Peter Hitt, 1714 German immigrant, are invited to attend the third anginal dinner to be held on July 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Culpeper. A buffet will be provided featuring three entrees, salad bar, vegetables, dessert and drink costing $18.50 per person.

Class reunion scheduled
The classes of 1954 and 1957 will have their class reunion July 4 and 5. The classmates will have a picnic on the ground of George Washington Carver-Piedmont Technical Education Center on Friday and a dinner/dance on Saturday at the Holiday Inn. For information call Betty Roberts at 825-1945.
Grafters sought
Crafters needed for the Culpeper, Madison and Rappahannock Farm Show, July 26 and 27. Cost for a space is $10 for both days and a donated craft item. Spaces available indoor and outside, limited space indoors, first come, first serve. Call Denise Webb at 923-5038 for information.
Firemen's carnival scheduled
The Flint Hill Volunteer Firemen’s Carnival will be held July 23, 24, 25 and 26. The department is currently seeking queen contestants and more information may be obtained from Connie Huff-Harris at 675-3389. Residents are urged to support the annual carnival event.
