Video-discussion on drumming
Through luminous demonstrations and inspiring performances, Payne Redmond, and her women’s drumming ensemble, The Mob of Angels, show how drumming and chanting can be used to create new and fulfilling ritualbased experiences. Bring a drum or rattle, we will make joyful noise after the video. No experience required.

Book sale planned
The Friends of the Rappahannock County Library will be holding their annual Used Book Sale at the Town Hall in Washington on July 4. There will be lots of children’s books, literature, popular fiction and quality non-fiction. Call the Library at 675-3780 for details!
Farm show scheduled
The Culpeper, Madison and Rappahannock Farm Show is July 25-28 at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises on Route 29 south of Culpeper. Farm Show catalogs are at the Rappahannock County Extension Office. Please stop by and pick one up. Entry forms are due to the Rappahannock Extension Office by June 30.!!
Rapidtran will not operate
Rapidtran will not operate on Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. Rapidtran is a program of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board. Rapidtran serves the general public as well as clients of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board in the five counties of Planning District 9.
Aileen reunion scheduled

Open house at Oasis
An open house and a 4th of July theme event will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 5 at the Oasis Winery. The free event will feature “The Blues Hawks,” a live Blues Band.
