Viewtown community entertains, travels, celebrates Mrs. Shirley Dodson, Mr. Charles Dodson Jr. and Susan Weaver were Thursday and Friday guests of Ms. Carolyn Dodson. Mrs. Barbara Settle was a Wednesday guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Acrey Dodson. Mrs. Violet Settle of Maryland was a Sunday guest of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Settle. Birthday wishes are extended to Mrs. Gladys Dodson, Mr. Joey Reid, Harlon Coffey, Ellis Smith and Robert Frazier who celebrates their day on Saturday, July 5 and to Ms. Carolyn Dodson who will celebrate her day on Tuesday, July 8. Have a safe and happy Independence Day! Residents are reminded of the July 4th celebration and activities in the town of Washington which begin at 10 a.m. and will continue throughout the day. Evening activities will be held at Avon Hall, on the hillside behind the Rappahannock Courthouse. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display provided by the town.
