This past week, six young men and women of the Catholic Diocese of Arlington moved over the area like a wave. Under the care and guidance of 150 young adults, more than 160 youngsters were part of WorkCamp ’97, a yearly effort by the diocese to reach out to the community at large and help those in need no matter their religious affiliation.
They came from across the diocese and paid to give up a week of their time to volunteer doing hard labor in over 90 degree heat. For some of the young participants it was the return to what they do every
