A larceny of wedding rings $ was reported by Mary Updike I of Washington, Va. on Aug. 4 “ about 12:55 p.m. The rings are valued in excess of $1,000 and the incident is still under investigation.
Also under investigation is a reported vandalism of vehicles at the home of Charles Richter of Sperryville. Mr. Richter’s daughter called to tell him about it and he informed the authorities. She told deputies she did not hear or see anything during the time the vandalism must have occurred. The incident is still under investigation.
