When Kathleen Maier was 6-years-old she already knew what she wanted to do and since then has been following her childhood dream.
She wanted to work in the health care field, she knew, but she didn’t realize that decision would lead her around the world.
Bom in Ohio and raised just outside Philadelphia, Pa., Kathleen graduated from the University of Scranton with a degree in chemistry and business. After graduation she joined the Peace Corps and so began her journey.
She was sent to Chili and while there worked in the health care and nutrition field. During that time she was treated for an illness by a local herbalist and soon felt healthier than she could remember ever feeling. She said she attributes that to the care and
