It is so inviting, swaying slightly from a sudden breeze, beckoning to one returning home from a busy day. “Come, let me hold you and gently ease your cares while the sun kisses your cheek and the wind brushes your hair." So soothing and always patiently waiting...the front porch swing. . It matters not whether one is small or tall, everyone needs a place to relax and push away the world if only for a short span of time; a place to indulge in a natural rhythm as old as humankind. Just as the limbs of the trees move to and fro, so does the swing, restoring the soul. God invites you to rest with Him. Our Heavenly Father patiently waits to soothe you and restore your soul from the cares of the world. You don’t have to wait until your day is through. He is with you always as close as your next prayer. Visit the Creator at His House this Sabbath. Rest in the serene beauty of His sanctuary... “He restoreth my soul."
