AS IF A DREAM

Who is to say that this reality that we call Life is not more than a dream existence from which we will be awakened upon our deaths? Those who are fully invested in the reality of this existence may find it hard to believe, but have we not all dreamed dreams that, too, seemed to be all so real? As the great American novelist Nathaniel Hawthorne once pointed out: "We often congratulate ourselves at the moment of waking from a troubled dream; it may be so at the moment of death." Indeed, our dream experiences offer us the notion that reality, as we see it, may be no more than a dream. If so, how glorious the feeling to awaken into a secure existence of love and personal knowledge that far outstrips any that we presently find in our lives! We should not discount the possibility any more than we should not expect to awaken from our dreams in the morning. When facing death, one is often given over to fears of what happens when one steps into the unknown. What helps most is to surround yourself or your loved one with family and friends so that this exit may be made with as much comfort as is humanly possible. At the MOSER FUNERAL HOME, our mission is to serve this community with respect compassion, and skillful management of the details that accompany a loss of a loved one. We are here 24 hours a day at 347-3431 (233 Broadview Avenue, Warrenton) We offer plots in Bright View Cemetery, just outside Warrenton, and memorials and monuments for all cemeteries.

Quote: "So that he seemed not to relinquish life, but to leave one home for another." ~ Cornelius Nepos
