We are happy to report that Miss Mary Miller Wood has returned home after having surgery at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester and is recuperating nicely.

Luncheon guests Sunday of Mrs. Annie Hawkins were George Bennette of Front Royal, Mrs. Mabel Burke of Woodville, Mr. and Mrs. John Deal, Jamie and Johnathan and Roger Hawkins of Warrenton.

Happy birthday to Kelly McDowell-McCormick on Fodderstack Road who will be celebrating his 11th birthday on Friday, Aug. 15.

Sunday evening visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown, Amanda, Bobbie Jo and Lucy were Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Beatty and Robbie of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Vest, Kirkland and Victoria of Flint Hill. Victoria remained . as an overnight guest.

Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Frazier of Castleton returned home Saturday evening after vacationing for a week in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
