The Rappahannock County Library’s Summer Reading Program for the children of Rappahannock County ended Friday evening, Aug. 1, at the library. The Puppets with Pizzazz from Roanoke were unable to come at the last minute, so Larraine Duisit Espinola led us in songs, some of which she had composed for her own family. (Toasting Marshmallows was a particular favorite.)
Then Kyle and Autumn Rose Beck each danced a solo for us; certificates and prizes were given out, and everyone eryoyed cookies and punch on the library porch.
