Although it moved in March to its new location, it took a little while for owner Ann Pankow to see the effects the move had on her business at the Horse N Hound in Flint Hill.
She said she had to do something. She was running out of room and couldn’t fit her inventory into the space she had.
The Horse N Hound moved to across the street from the Post Office in the Flint Hill Square.
Ann now has about three times the room she had before and could use more she says.
She said her business has probably increased 30 percent since she moved. She attributes that to better visibility and location. •
“I’ve mostly expanded the lines I already carried,” she said, “not really anything dramatic or different.”
She has added more boots, dog and cat supplies and rabbit feed.
She stocks her shop with all manner of riding accoutrements.
She has a wall of bits, a wall of bridles and a wall of halters, not to mention the many saddles which are artfully displayed.
