The ‘ Rappahannock County Library’s Summer Reading Program began Monday, July 5 and will continue through Saturday, Aug 7. You may register at the library every day this week, and any day afterwards. Every child who takes part gets to choose a free paperback book at the grand finale.
To make it fairer, readers are divided into three groups:
Read-to-Me’s, I-CanRead’s, and Advanced Readers. Reading logs will be kept, and the names and the number of books (or pages) they have read will be posted each Friday in the lobby of the library.
Each Saturday at two p.m. there will be a program by a professional performer at the library. These are free and open to the public.
