Sports physicals offered
Although the school year is barely over, administrators are already preparing for next year. RCHS Athletic Director Mike TVipper announced that Virginia High School League Physicals will be given at the Rappahannock Medical Center on July 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. The VHSL physical form will be available at the Medical Center. There will be a $10 fee to Medical Center.
Wakefield hosts open house
Wakefield School in The Plains will host Admissions Open Houses for students entering grades 4-6 and 9-11 on Wednesday, July 21 and Thursday, Aug. 5 both at 7 p.m. The public and especially prospective students and their parents are invited to attend. For more information call 253-5393.
Summer camps scheduled
TASC for Teens of Jeffersonton is organizing and leading two 2-week Canadian Wilderness Fishing Summer Camps to beautiful Northern Ontario for youth ages 10-17 on July 17-30 and Aug. 7-20. The trips will leave from Jeffersonton and include qualified and caring staff, complete instruction, round-trip transportation, meals, most camping equipment, cabin lodging, and motorboat. Swing dance lessons continue
