Bear also has an interest in the county’s children. He believes the county should promote programs like DARE, 4-H and the Scouting Program. Bear commented “The kids of today are our future. The values and skills we instill in them will be carried on to the next generation.”
Bear is also concerned about low attendance at county meetings. He wants to encourage more people to attend, as decisions about what directions the county takes are decided at these forums.
