Last year, 250 Rappahannock RoughRiders and many generous sponsors, raised more than $10,000 for the Fauquier Free Clinic. The race proceeds translated into $51,000 for medicine for the clinic’s patients.

The clinic is a volunteer organization, which provides quality primary health care and dental services to uninsured individuals and families living in Rappahannock and Fauquier counties. Without the clinic, they would “fall through the cracks” of the government’s safety net of medical services.

Local medical workers volunteer their time to staff the clinic. Drug companies give free samples of medicines and local pharmacies sell drugs “at cost” to the clinic.

Plan to join in the ride on Sept. 18, see Rappahannock’s beautiful scenery and help the Fauquier Free Clinic continue to provide its services.
