The board attempts to take all viewpoints into account when making decisions. It is important to note that there are often many related factors involved with any issue. A balanced and considered weighing of the various issues is essential in order to arrive at decisions which will stand the test of time.
The board needs to hear from all concerned parties about school related matters. Such concerns should not be just about budget issues, however. Keep in mind that school board members are local taxpayers too and are concerned about their taxes just like everyone else.
