Try to take into account that your concerns must be weighed against all factors which determine school operation. The best way to understand this is to become involved in one or more board activities and see for yourself firsthand what goes on in and how yOu may contribute to our schools.
There are at least three vehicles for making your concerns known to or sharing your interest with the school board: 1. by contacting yopr district representative, 2. by
asking to be put on the agenda for a regular board meeting t>r a subcommittee meeting and - 3. by serving on one of the board’s advisory groups.
Operation of the schools is a multi-faceted and complicated matter. The intelligent views of all our citizens are essential for the success of our mission: quality education of the children of this county.
