• The RCES PTO Playground Committee continues to work hard, under the leadership of Mrs. Shannon Swain, to improve and expand recreational facilities for kindergarten-seventh students. The latest addition to the playground is the new swing set on the hill adjacent to the soccer fields. Many thanks to the School Board for their support of this project for the past several years.
• RCES First Grade teacher, Mrs. Deborah Flinchum, and RCHS Technology Teacher, Mr. Ron Vickers, leave on Thursday, March 16, for Oxford University in England to attend a Leadership and Ethics Conference sponsored by V.P.I.
