The best man has just published a book that he claims is fiction only all his old friends see themselves in it and they are furious. As we peek behind the scenes at the bachelor party and eavesdrop on some soul-to-soul free associating over a game of cards, the movie reveals something we seldom see. Ambience, sharp dialogue and characters who manage to care deeply, but still call each other on their petty, macho shortcomings. (R, 115 minutes)
