A benefit breakfast sponsored by the Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad will be held on Saturday, March 18 from 7 a.m. unttt 11:30 p.m. Cost is $6 for adults; children 6*12 will be charged $3 and under six will be served free. Door prizes will be drawn every hour.
“Bach Reunion”
to be presented
“A Bach Family Reunion” will be presented on Sunday, March 19 at 4 p.m. In the year 1765 the four surviving sons of J. Sebastian Bach (who died in 1750) meet and visit with a friend who has returned from London. The sons are all professional musicians and Composers and will talk about and perform their own compositions. This program will be presented at the Front Royal Presbyterian Church and will include music for organ, harpsichord, piano and voice. Participants in this dramatization include: Dr. James Laster, Dr. Steven Cooksey, Jason Largent, Wendy Oesterling, Ronald Johnston, Larry and Sue Correll. This will be a unique event presented in commemoration of this year’s 250th anniversary of the death of J.S. Bach.

Moon Cafe
The Larry Keel Experience will be performing at Blue Moon Cafe just west of Sperryville for a St. Patrick’s Day Pickin’ Extravaganza on Friday night, March 17-. On Saturday, March 18 beginning at 9:30 p.m., The House Band will be performing at Blue Moon Cafe. The group, formerly the OK’s, consist of Smiggy, The Muthers Brothers, Steve Pratt and Johnny Pierce.
