Mrs. Smoot was bom May 22, 1934 in Washington a daughter of Sam Bo and Frances Smoot.
Survivors include her husband, James Paul Smoot; two sons, John Mosby Smoot and Jonas Paul Smoot, both at home; two daughters, Polly Smoot of Woodstock and Lisa Smoot at home; two brothers, Frankie Smoot of Stephens City and Junior Smoot of Winchester; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Wayne Smoot Jr., William Smoot, Joseph Smoot, Wayne Smoot Sr., Danny Wheeling Sr. and Danny Wheeling Jr.
