It is the preparations for this feast that showcase the spectacular food, a Timpano, a huge, drum shaped pasta concoction filled with more pasta, sausage, cheese, meatballs, sauce, hard boiled eggs and the like, stuffed artichoke hearts, squabs, roast suckling pig, whole fish, fresh asparagus, fruit and cheese.
