Saturday Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Sengstack and sons Eric and Jason in Centreville for Jason’s 14 birthday. Matt Jakubowicz of Doylestown, Pa., joined the family for the occasion. They all had dinner at Outback Steak House and returned to the Sengstack home for desert.
Friday the 17th of March is St. Patrick’s Day and Monday the 20th is the first day of spring. People are planting their gardens so lets hope nice weather is here to stay.
Wednesday, March 22 is the second night for the Ecumenical Lenten Services at Trinity Episcopal Church with host St. Peter’s Church. The speaker will be Jennings Hobson on the topic, Savior and Sinner. Music will be furnished by Reynolds Baptist. Pot luck supper begins at 6:15 p.m. and services start at 7. Nursery care is provided so come join in and bring a friend.
The deacons of the Washington Baptist Church will meet at 7 p.m. at the church on Thursday night March 16.
