The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the nation’s oldest and most prestigious engineering association is seeking a Coordinator of Educational Activities at our World Headquarters in Reston. Responsibilities include providing staff support of national education committees. Initial focus will be on the undergraduate student services of ASCE. Will also accomplish special projects related to undergraduate engineering eduqation, student activities, and career guidance.

The fully qualified candidate will have an undergraduate degree, preferably in education or civil engineering. Other college graduates, to include entry level candidates, interested in affecting the formal educational process of engineering students will be given full consideration. Should be able to plan, organize and conduct workshops and committee meetings. The candidate must be an energetic team player and able to handle multiple tasks. Must also be an effective verbal and written communicator. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications is a must.
