Another series of questions asked about desires for the future of Amissville. The predominant response to the question, "If you had to name one thing that could be done to make Amissville a better place to live, what would it be?", was "Do nothing" (30 percent). In answer to the question, "Are there any new businesses you would like to see in Amissville?" 67 percent of the respondents answered, "None desired."
The next step said Paul Komar, chair of the AACA Organization and Planning Committee, is the commencement of Phase II Planning. That will involve defining the proposed village area, development of building design guidelines for the village, determining what businesses are desired in the village, and preparing the Comprehensive Plan annex. Community approval, stressed' Mr. Komar, will be a requirement "for anything we do."
