Mr. McCarthy provided the Planning Commission with a draft resolution that incorporates all changes proposed to the Zoning Chapter over the past ”6-9 months", as well as proposed Federal legislation that would restrict the regulation of the land use activities of "religious institutions" by local governments.
He suggested that the Commission table any action on the resolution until County Attorney Peter Luke had an opportunity to review the legislation and assess its implications to the County. The Planning Commission agreed to table action for one month. . ,
