The Theatre at Washington this fall. Other performances include a concert by the Axelrod String Quartet (in the Smithsonian at Little Washington series), Celtic music, Ben Jones and Alma Viator in "Love Letters," a concert of operatic arias, and a classical piano recital by Haskell Small. The season will end with a fortepiano recital by the famous keyboard artist Lambert Orkis who, with Anne-Sophie Mutter, won the Grammy Award for Best Chamber Music Performance last February.

Tickets for the concert on • Sept. 9 are $15 for adults, $5 for students 18 and under. The program is already well subscribed and early reservations are recommended.
