Recognized as one of the most exciting young guitarists on the jazz scene today, Vignola has performed or recorded with artists ranging from Chet Atkins, Madonna, Woody Allen, Ringo Starr, the Boston Pops Orchestra, and countless legends from the golden era of jazz.
He performs regularly in New York with the Les Paul Trio, and has two new CD's coming out this fall. The first is on the Nagal Heyer label, with Roland Hanna, Frank Wess and John Goldsby. The second is a Koch International Release called Two Franks Thanks, with Frank Wess, Mark Egan and Joe Ascione. Frank Vignola has also recorded for the Concord and Telarc labels.
