Superintendent Douglas K. Morris announced recently that entrance fees for Friday, Aug. 25, will be waived in celebration of the 84th anniversary of the National Park Service.
On Aug. 25, 1916, President Woodrow Wilson signed the act creating the National Park Service. National Park Service units will waive entrance fees on Aug. 25 in honor of National Park Service Founder's Day.
