The Child Care and Learning Center will be holding the Fifth Annual Fall Auction and Party on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 6 p.m. at the Washington School. The admission fee of $15 will include food and libations. The doors open at 6 to allow everyone to browse in the tag sale room, begin bidding on some silent auction items, and have some refreshments before the live auction begins at 7. . — ~v
Dozens of large furniture items will be auctioned off, many are locally crafted, and many are antiques. The "signature piece" for this year's auction is the custom made, Rappahannock cherry, oval top tea table by Charlie Coombs.
Other furniture items are a beautiful antique blanket chest, dressers, sideboards, tables, chairs, beds, upholstered side chairs, rocking chair, desks, cherry ladies’ writing desk, dry sink, wardrobes, rocking chair, side tables, a church pew, coffee tables, and several trunks.
