A heifer, produced on Mt. Ida Farm, Huntly, was declared Reserve Champion in the Special Junior Heifer Show at the Atlantic Rural Exposition this fall, according to an announcement in the October newsletter of the state Angus Association. Watt's Barber and Beauty Shop in Washington was celebrating their third anniversary with stylists, Elizabeth Racer and M.G. Watts on hand to attend to your beauty parlor needs six days a week. A large delegation of Rappahannock voters, headed by James W. Fletcher, attended a Warren County Democratic Rally held at Front Royal Thursday evening, Oct. 26 to hear Representative Burr P. Harrison reply to charges which he had said are being made by Republicans over radio and in newspaper advertising. Mr. Harrison stated that the Republicans do not say that he has neglected his district; they fail to mention.that he has visited every precinct in his district annually to meet his constituents and to hear any criticism or suggestions and they have not criticized his voting record, even on the most controversial issues in Congress.
