kept up the pressure. The Firebirds were forced to play a nine vs nine game as they were shorthanded, but their spirit stayed up all game. Coach Pendleton was pleased with the play and very proud of the team as they chose to play with their nine, even after the Culpeper Coach offered to loan a player. The final score was 2-7 but the Firebirds spirit was 10-0!

The U-12 Jack-OLanterns hosted Culpeper, after a tight first half ending 1-1, the team pulled away with Will Sonnett converting on a penalty kick to cap the scoring, 4-2. Defensive standouts were sweeper, Ry Wellemeyer and goalie Jack Coon in a great team effort!

The U-14 Blue Knights (sponsored by White Oak Veterinary), and U-14 Rapp Phalanx teams merged together, taking on Culpeper and being defeated 6-0.

The 'still undefeated' U18's played Culpeper. With the team down 1-0 in the first half, it didn't take long to be three goals ahead in the second half, with a final score of 3-2. The goals this game were made by Andrew .Burke, Colin Treanor and Adrienne Moore. U-18 will host Madison in a final game this weekend.
