Public School System L. • Wow! What a spooky ffteek this has been! Halloween parties around the county, haunted hayrides, and then of course Halloween night! What a*fun time! JTJ; • The Rappahannock County Schools Sports Association (RCSSA) sponsored a wonderful Haunted Barn at Hungry Run Farm on §buth Poe's Road in Amissville l£st weekend. Thanks to the Fred Naramore family, experts in haunting, and the help of many volunteers, the ftvo evenings were a tremendous success. Thanks to all of you who supported this fun fund raiser! Saturday evening Was incredible! The air was brisk, a fire was blazing, the stars were brilliant! What a great night!
The Rappahannock Soccer League provided volunteers, and Soccer Coach Tom Pendleton's concession stand, to help the Sports Association with this successful event. It is wonderful to see the community come together to support these efforts on behalf of our students!
• Don't miss the November PTO meeting at RCES which will feature an evening of "Reading Favorites” on Friday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity for all of us to encourage our children to read more and to enjoy it! RCES parent volunteer Theresa Light is chairing the committee which will produce this fun event. The meeting portion "during intermission" will simply (and quickly) consist of President Jimmy Swindler filling parents in on upcoming PTO events.
