SALARY: $40,000-$47,500 (+) benefits. (Pop. 650). Administer the Middleburg Police Department (3 f/t patrol officers) and perform all duties with the highest standard of professional conduct. Excellent management, ana- lytical and communications skills required. Plan, direct, and coordinate patrol, traffic, criminal investigation and related services, which includes supervising the training and deployment of Middleburg police officers to best serve the public safety needs of the community. High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred. At least three years of senior administrative experience, with at least 10 years uniformed police work, 5 of which must be as a patrol officer. Candidates must pass polygraph, background investigation, physical examination (including drug screening), and criminal and DMV record checks.
