County taxes due

’r Rappahannock County tax bills for 2000 have been mailed and must be paid on or before Dec. 5 to avoid a penalty. Failure to receive a bill through the mail does not relieve the taxpayer of additional charges that will accrue under law for failure to pay by the due date.

The Treasurer's Office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Anyone with questions should contact Rappahannock Treasurer, Frances A. Foster at 675-3334.
