Throughout the day, you can wander through the village's shops, visit Father Christmas, drink hot cider and sing Christmas carols around the Yule Log, go on a special guided walking tour of the historic village and stop by the "Open House" at the Heritage House Bed & Breakfast on Main Street where there will be a Wassail Bowl.
Meanwhile, be sure to watch the spectacular performance of the Colonial dancers in the Town Hall on Gay Street. They will be performing in period costume at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. At 5 p.m., there will be a special candlelight performance.
After the Town Hali Colonial dancing, you can walk to the Washington Baptist Church, two blocks down on Gay Street, and enjoy a delicious Candlelight Colonial Christmas Dinner, with traditional turkey and all its trimmings, which begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person; $5 for children ten and under. All of the waiters and waitresses will be dressed in colonial costume and there will be Christmas music.
