Over at Ribbons Hallmark in the Oak Springs Plaza, shoppers can buy a ceramic version of Gringotts bank (smaller than the original but, like it, guarded by trolls), to help save up for the other Potter products that will materialize in Ribbons between now and Christmas: frames, journals, bookends and puzzles.
"The hottest items are the ornaments," said Peg Miller, the store's operations manager. She said the first bunch of Harry Potter ornaments — the one of Harry on his broomstick chasing the Snitch — all but disappeared in the first 45 minutes.
Ribbons also has a Hogwarts banner designed to hold all 10 ornaments in its new Harry Potter collection.
