• What an unusual fall this has been! It is hard to believe that we are celebrating Thanksgiving already! As this writer begins this article she is reminded of the many things that we all have to be thankful for in our public schools:
• First of all, the many wonderful children that we have the opportunity to teach and work with every day!
• The wonderful group of parents and other volunteers who do so much to help our students and staff in so many ways!
• Our incredible staff of dedicated, committed teachers, aides, cafeteria staff, custodial staff, administrators, bus drivers, secretaries, nurse, information specialist, coaches, athletic director and more!
• The support of our friends in the community for our public schools!
• Headwaters, the Rappahannock County Public Education Foundation!
• The Curriculum Enrichment Program!
• The new Rappahannock Schools Sports Association!
During this holiday weekend please take a few moments or more to reflect on the many wonderful things that our public schools offer our children and ultimately the future of our county! 1 • On Nov. 14 students at RCES were treated to "Amelia Earhart", a production of Theatre IV.
